Our 2011 harvest is almost complete which means less silence on the blog front. Yeeha!

For those not involved in their own harvest, 2011 has been one of the most interesting harvest-years to date. The weather, which varied from ridiculously hot days weeks to freak storms, has provided the Môreson team with an interesting set of harvest circumstances.

This year, more than any other, has really highlighted the nature of this thing we call wine and how it doesn't ever act in isolation; how it is part of, and affected by, so much more than just what happens in the cellar. It really is, from a farm's perspective, what makes this business so exciting and dynamic.
