

Clayton read for a B.Sc Agriculture, in Oenology and Viticulture, at the University of Stellenbosch (2000 to 2004).
From 2005 to 2007 he worked locally for Grande Provence, Distell, Laroche L'Avenir and Vrede en Lust and internationally in Bordeaux, France (at Chateau de Fleur du Bouard in Lalande Pomerol) and along the Mosel River (in Zell). He joined Môreson, as winemaker, in May 2007.
Clayton’s winemaking style is intelligent, focused and passionate. He creates spectacular wines; all with a huge amount of depth and, that trademark Môreson characteristic, balance.
