The Noordhoek Crush 2018

Posted on March 29, 2018 by Nikki Friedman

Join Môreson at The Noordhoek Crush 2018!

Press release

Spend the day sipping on over 80 wines from 20 farms across the Cape Winelands.

Yes it’s that time again, where we take over The Farm Village in Noordhoek and bring you the most fun, family focused and truly awesome wine festival to the deep south.

The Noordhoek Crush breaks aristocratic expectations where quaffing and spitting wine are encouraged, and children are discouraged from attending.  We not only welcome children; but we make sure they are entertained and having as much fun as you, with the likes of face painting, horse rides & sand art, as well as the jungle gym and permanent kids corner.

And for the adults we have a dedicated wine tasting tent with over 20 wineries, a bar to buy your favorite wine and a wine shop to stock up with wines at cellar door prices; we’ll even deliver them to your door.  As well as Noordhoek’s best food stalls to soak up any access wine.  All of the restaurants will be open as usual and wavering corkage for wines bought from us.

 THE NOORDHOEK CRUSH
14TH APRIL 2018
The Farm Village, Noordhoek
12h00 – 17h00

Entrance to the festival is free.

A ‘Wine Tasting Wrist Band’ must be pre purchased on Quicket.co.za for R150 which allows the beholder unlimited tasting.

Please note all proceeds go to a local charity.

This is an annual event and each year it is sold out – please buy tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.

The event is bought to you by The Foodbarn, The Foodbarn Deli, Café Roux, The Toad in The Village, The Village Sushi, Siris Vintners, MorVino & OrderWine.co.za.

The morning walk ...

Posted on February 01, 2012 by Nikki

This morning the furry kids decided that we had to take a stroll around the farm at 06h20.

You see there were important things to inspect, stuff that simply could not wait. Obviously.

These important items included vineyards, delicious almost-ripe grapes, holes, other dogs' bums and imaginary creatures that go bump in the bushes.

Diamonds are a Winemaker's Best Friend

Posted on September 29, 2011 by Nikki

We heard late yesterday that we'd been awarded not one but two Diamond Awards at The 2011 Winemaker's Choice Awards.

Our 2010 Môreson Pinotage and our 2008 Môreson Cabernet Franc walked off with top honours. We are so incredibly proud of these wines! If you're attending our inaugral Plant Fayre this weekend you'll be able to taste both of them in our Tasting Room.

Super!

The Môreson Premium Chardonnay 2010 Now Available

Posted on July 25, 2011 by Nikki

Every year we look at how we can add something more to the already exceptional Premium Chardonnay and I am delighted to be able to say that the 2010 is the best Premium Chardonnay we, as a farm, have produced to date. It shows significantly more fruit on the nose than the 2009 and the oak integration is – once again – sublime.

It is available, for purchase, through our online store. Don't miss out on this incredible wine. Buy a case today to avoid dismay!

Seriously you don't want to be the one person who misses out on this FAB.U.LOUS vintage.

P.S. For a 10% discount - available until the end of September 2011 - make use of the following coupon code: nik_fri
